Personal Commitment to Jesus Christ: Every individual must make their own personal commitment to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This experience is referred to by Jesus as "being born again" (John 3:1-7). Christianity is not merely another world religion; it is first and foremost a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Bible Focused: The Bible alone is our guidebook for a life that is pleasing to God and beneficial to mankind. No human writings can sufficiently match the Word of God given to man, ". . . the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever" (1 Peter 1:23-25).
The Priesthood of all Believers: All Christians are called to be God's ministers and have a God given special purpose for serving Him, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light" (1 Peter 2:9).
Believer's Baptism: The practice of water baptism follows after a person becomes a disciple of Jesus Christ, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).
The Lord's Supper (Communion): For every Christian, the Lord's Supper is a very special time to reflect upon the redemption price paid by Jesus upon Calvary's Cross, "For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes" 1 Corinthians 11:26.
Missional: The church is called to be the light of Christ Jesus that shines into a spiritually darkened world; the mission of the church has been given by Jesus Christ Himself, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15).
